This model was created using guidance from Vladimir Panchenko's videos on this very car. This method of modeling really resonated with me as he shows a very logical approach to patch layout, theory building, and overall clean modelling. My approach was a follows:

Stage 1

In the beginning the emphasis was put to creating clean, logical, and simple primary surfaces with blends. Keeping these surfaces very clean in the beginning really helped down the pipeline.

Stage 2

Next the focus was applied in creating the secondary blends and making sure the theoretical intersections lined up as they needed to. Building on top of those the fillets were applied. Having clean surfaces initially meant a reduction in the number of bezier surfaces patches the fillet tool created.

Stage 3

Finally the entire model was finished to a high level of detail. The guidance from the videos stopped at the stage above to I used the techniques and logic I learnt yo to that point to take this to the next step with the added LOD.
